This product is suitable for industrial sleeves, liners, support sleeves, and other cylindrical components that operate under load or wear conditions. The forging route provides a sound preform that can be machined into finished sleeve geometry while maintaining section strength. It is a practical choice for customers needing large non-standard sleeves that cannot be economically produced from bar or pipe stock. Sleeve- and bushing-type forgings are often selected when the final part must combine wear resistance, dimensional stock, and enough section strength for heavy support or rotating service. Compared with machining directly from bar or pipe, a forged blank offers a denser base structure and more suitable starting geometry for large non-standard cylindrical parts. It is common for customers to specify bore range, wall section, machining allowance, and delivery condition so that the final sleeve or bushing can be finished according to the actual fit and service environment.
