This product functions as a general-purpose disc forging blank for customers who need a sound round section and enough machining allowance for custom parts. It is suitable for power equipment, pressure parts, machinery components, and large circular elements that begin from a forged solid disc. The forging route improves section integrity compared with cut plate or cast alternatives, especially for thicker and heavier parts. Disc-type forgings of this class are often purchased when the customer needs a solid circular preform with better section integrity than plate cuttings or cast alternatives can provide. Typical downstream operations include turning, boring, facing, balancing, and profile machining for heavy round parts, rotor components, covers, or other functional discs. According to the application, the blank can also be arranged with rough machining, heat treatment, and inspection so that later finishing work starts from a more stable forged base.
