This product is suitable for manufacturing large-diameter gear rings used in mining machinery, rotary equipment, heavy transmissions, and industrial drive systems. The forging route focuses on sound internal structure, controlled deformation, and adequate stock for tooth machining. It is typically supplied as a forged or rough-machined ring blank so that customers can complete gear cutting, heat treatment, and finish machining according to their own technical standards. In practical procurement, buyers often request this type of ring blank with clearly defined outside diameter, inside diameter, section size, ultrasonic testing level, and machining allowance for tooth cutting. For large-module gears, control of ring roundness, section consistency, and heat-treatment response is especially important because later hobbing or gear milling will directly depend on the stability of the forged blank. According to project needs, additional services such as rough turning, normalizing, quenching and tempering, and third-party inspection coordination can also be arranged before shipment.
