This product is designed for trunnion positions in mills and related heavy processing equipment. It often combines shaft-like and hollow-section characteristics, requiring careful control of geometry and internal quality. The forging route helps provide a robust preform for subsequent machining of bearing areas, bores, flanges, and sealing surfaces used in demanding mineral-processing and heavy-industry environments. For special shaft projects, purchasing decisions are usually driven by operating load, machining sequence, straightness control, and the need for adequate stock in journals, tapers, or connection zones. These forgings are therefore produced with attention to section transition, heat-treatment compatibility, and dimensional allowance so that the customer can complete the final shaft geometry with reduced structural risk. Additional rough machining, ultrasonic testing, mechanical-property verification, and marking can also be provided for projects with stricter equipment or inspection requirements.
