Compared with a standard tube sheet blank, this product is aimed at larger or thicker tube sheets used in more demanding pressure and thermal equipment. The forging route helps maintain internal soundness through the thicker section while providing enough stock for drilling and machining. It is well suited for custom exchanger projects where conventional plate-based solutions are not preferred. Tube sheet projects usually require more than a simple round blank, because later drilling layout, flatness, thickness control, and machining stability will directly affect exchanger assembly and sealing performance. For this reason, customers often prefer a forged blank when the section is heavy, the material requirement is strict, or the final equipment service demands a more reliable base structure. Depending on the manufacturing route, the product can be prepared as a forging blank, rough-machined blank, or semi-finished plate ready for drilling, facing, and final tube-sheet machining.
