This product serves as a general hollow forging blank for customers who need a cylindrical part with a central bore and adequate machining allowance. It is suitable for sleeves, cylinders, rollers, and other heavy hollow components in industrial applications. The forging process helps create a stronger and more reliable base than ordinary tubular stock, especially when the part size and wall thickness are substantial. In cylindrical and shell-type applications, the buyer usually needs assurance that wall thickness, bore stock, and metallurgy can be controlled more reliably than with fabricated or cut tubular materials. These forgings are therefore suitable for equipment sections where sealing surfaces, bores, outer profiles, or load-bearing walls will be machined from a heavy cylindrical preform. According to service conditions, the product can also be arranged with heat treatment, ultrasonic testing, and rough machining to support pressure, hydraulic, or heavy mechanical uses.
