This product is typically used in heavy rotating systems where the shaft functions as a main spindle or principal transmission member. The hollow design helps reduce mass and may support lubrication, internal passage, or assembly requirements. Compared with a standard hollow shaft, a hollow main shaft places more emphasis on concentricity potential, straightness control, and stable material behavior in subsequent machining and heat treatment. For special shaft projects, purchasing decisions are usually driven by operating load, machining sequence, straightness control, and the need for adequate stock in journals, tapers, or connection zones. These forgings are therefore produced with attention to section transition, heat-treatment compatibility, and dimensional allowance so that the customer can complete the final shaft geometry with reduced structural risk. Additional rough machining, ultrasonic testing, mechanical-property verification, and marking can also be provided for projects with stricter equipment or inspection requirements.
